Welcome to Angelenos Wood Fired Pizza! I am Carmen Samaniego, a dedicated French-trained Chef with a 15-year journey in the culinary realm. While my roots are deeply set in the world of cuisine, my passion for pizza ignited in 2018, evolving from a personal hobby into a culinary adventure. The birth of Angelenos’ Wood Fired Pizza marked the inception of our pop-up concept, later expanding to a wood-fired pizza truck. Today, our journey has led us to the vibrant pizzeria scene in Long Beach, two beautiful wood fired pizza trucks and two wood fired trailers. My husband, Daniel, and I, along with our exceptional team – the dynamic “pizza pirates” – infuse our creations with our utmost dedication and passion, serving our community with heart and soul. With a family background in baking, delving into the world of wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas was exhilarating. I was determined to honor this captivating tradition while adding my unique touch. Hours spent during the pandemic were channeled into exhaustive research, poring over books, participating in virtual seminars from Italy, and methodically experimenting with various techniques. My mission; crafting THE perfect pizza dough. On a note of pride, our relentless dedication to dough excellence earned us a significant accolade. We emerged victorious on Hulu’s prestigious pizza competition show, #BestInDough. This triumph underlines our commitment to quality and innovation.Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey.
